Mechanical Engineer PE

Our client in Greenville, SC is growing due to increased demands across multi-discipline projects, including civil, mechanical, electrical, and forensic engineering. They are expanding their Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) services to better support regional clients-and are looking for a Professional Engineer (P.E.) in Mechanical Engineering to help lead that growth. This is a direct hire position for our client.Salary: $70,000 to $120,000 Depending on ExperienceLocation: Greenville, SC (100% Onsite)What You'll DoAs a PE Mechanical Engineer, you'll play a key role in designing, reviewing, and delivering high-quality MEP systems across a variety of projects.Day-to-day responsibilities include:Lead the design and engineering of HVAC, plumbing, piping, and fire protection systemsPerform load calculations, energy modeling, and equipment selectionProduce construction drawings, specifications, and details using AutoCAD and RevitConduct site visits, review submittals, and support construction administrationCollaborate with electrical, civil, and structural teams for integrated designsMentor junior engineers/designers and perform QA/QC reviewsSupport client meetings, schedules, budgets, and project coordinationQualificationsBachelor's Degree in Mechanical EngineeringActive Professional Engineer (PE) licenseExperience with HVAC, plumbing, piping, and fire protection designProficiency in AutoCAD and RevitWorking knowledge of ASHRAE, NFPA, and state/local mechanical codesPrevious Project Management experienceForensic engineering or failure analysis experience a plusLEED acreditation a plusConstruction Management background a plusWhy Join UsBe part of a growing firm expanding its MEP and forensic servicesWork on diverse, technically engaging projectsCollaborate in a multi-discipline engineering environmentOpportunity to mentor, lead, and influence project outcomesStable schedule with short FridaysLimited Travel
