Lead Installer with CDLThomas Sign & Awning, an award-winning National Sign Company in Clearwater, FL designs, manufactures and installs illuminated and non-illuminated signage. Thomas Sign is searching for a reliable individual to join our team as a Lead Sign Installer. The Lead Installer is responsible for the installation of signs and sign components such as sign cabinets, pylons, pole covers and other custom-made sign assemblies. REQUIREMENTS:Must have or be willing to obtain crane certification.Must be able to work as a team leaderMust have a valid CDL License Ability to read and understand technical and engineering drawingsMust be able to work flexible hours with some overnight travelWorkday begins no later than 7am.JOB SKILLSUse of hand toolsUse of common power toolsAble to use a shovel, or have auger experience, to dig holes for concrete footersUse of power operated truck mounted crane and ladderAble to accurately measure and cut metal, plastic, wire, fabric, etc.Able to assemble parts to form complete signsMust be able to follow written and verbal instructions in English and read shop drawingsBasic electrical wiring knowledge and skillsAble to lift up to 50 pounds unassistedAble to work outside in the Florida climateAble to climb ladders and work at heightsMust be able work well with others in a team environmentMaintain a neat and presentable appearance at all times.
