Information Technologist III – VTC FacilitatorLocation: Fort Lee, VAClearance: Active Secret (Required)Job Type: Full-Time | On-SiteJoin the CASCOM G-6 team supporting secure and non-secure Video Teleconferencing (VTC) operations across T2COM classrooms and command environments. This role ensures reliable, secure, and seamless communication for training, leadership engagements, and mission coordination.Responsibilities Provide daily operation and sustainment of Video Teleconferencing (VTC) systems and facilitiesDeliver desk-side support and instruction to users on proper use of VTC equipment and conferencing toolsTrain users on VTC system setup, operation, and best practicesUtilize scheduling software to coordinate VTC sessions, ensuring proper alignment of participants, facilitators, and resourcesPerform pre-conference setup and testing, ensuring systems are fully operational prior to meetings or eventsMonitor and manage live VTC sessions to ensure continuous, high-quality, and disruption-free communicationOperate crypto keying functions for secure video teleconferences in classified environmentsAssist users with access and operation of SIPRNET kiosks and secure communication systemsTroubleshoot and resolve audio, video, network, and connectivity issues in real timeProvide technical support and backup assistance to Cyber Security Division as requiredCoordinate with IT, AV, and network teams to escalate and resolve complex issuesDocument VTC activities, issues, and resolutions in approved ticketing and tracking systemsEnsure all operations comply with DoD, Army, NETCOM, and local security policies and proceduresRequired Experience Minimum of eight (8) years of client support in a Microsoft Windows-based environment.Eight (8) or more years in deploying systems in a Microsoft Windows environment.Three (3) or more years of specialized experience working in the Microsoft Windows environment supporting Windows Server 2019, Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft Forefront Threat Management Gateway (Forefront TMG), formerly known as Microsoft Internet Security and Acceleration Server (ISA), Share Point, SQL Server 2019 or current releases of all OS and applications.Knowledge of IT concepts, principles and methods.Knowledgeable in the use of software tools and processes to load software images on and configuration to manage the supported computers.Knowledge of PC architecture and hardware and software capability and configurations.Ability to operate all video teleconference systems and have knowledge of facilitation operations.Knowledge of crypto keying functions of equipment for secure video teleconferences.Education / Certifications Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field of study, or eight (8) or more years related experience.Security+ (IAT II) requiredAbout nFocus SolutionsnFocus Solutions is dedicated to the development of innovative technologies and intelligent business solutions for the public sector.
