As infrastructure and development continue to expand across Hawaii, this position provides strong exposure to high-profile projects and long-term career potential.This role will focus on delivering accurate estimates for large construction projects (Commercial, Residential, Institutional).The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing detailed quantity take-offs, evaluating project risks, and supporting estimating strategies across building projects.The Estimator will work closely with internal teams and project stakeholders to manage bid documentation, evaluate costs, and contribute to competitive proposals. Reporting to the Chief Estimator, this position will also support projects involving facility expansions, renovations, and new building sections, with exposure to self-perform productivity estimating and lump sum or hard bid pursuits.ResponsibilitiesLead and prepare estimates for construction projects valued at $25M and aboveComplete accurate quantity take-offs and cost analysesManage and review bid documents and tender submissionsIdentify project risks, opportunities, and cost driversSupport lump sum and hard bid pursuitsCollaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and internal stakeholdersContribute to estimating strategies including self-perform productivity analysisQualificationsBachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related disciplineMinimum 4 years of construction estimating experienceExperience estimating new builds, renovations, additions, or facility expansionsStrong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and bid processesAbility to manage multiple estimates in a fast-paced environmentBenefits & PerksCompetitive salary range of $103,000 - $135,000 USD, depending on experienceStrong focus on career development and long-term growth within a leading North American builderAccess to mentorship, training, and advancement opportunities across a large project portfolioPotential opportunity for employee ownershipRelocation assistance provided for successful candidates moving to HawaiiApplication RequirementsCandidates must be physically based in the United States and legally able to work without employer sponsorship.Applicants must submit:A resume, andA project list highlighting relevant experience across Hospitality, Residential, Commercial, or Building projects, including new builds, renovations, and additions.
