As part of this 12-week paid internship, we will guide you through hands-on experiences, working alongside industry professionals to help you develop the practical knowledge and skills needed to succeed as an applicator. During the internship, you'll spend 6 weeks learning applicating processes and 6 weeks exploring our grain and agronomy operations. You will work closely with seasoned professionals, gaining valuable insights and hands-on experience in a supportive and dynamic environment.You Will:• Work in a safe and efficient manner, according to AgState's Safety Policy.• Always utilize good customer service skills when servicing and greeting our customers and co-workers.• Demonstrate work habits that develop, build, and support the team concept with the organization.• Continually learn about all agronomic products, precision agriculture, and general services available from AgState.• Obtain working knowledge of machinery used in ag retail (sprayers, terra-gators, etc.) to further enhance knowledge of production agriculture.• Complete all paperwork (work orders, invoice, field maps, etc.) in a timely manner to ensure customer satisfaction, company efficiencies, and minimize stress on teammates and self.• Aid in operations tasks such as grain train loading, agronomy product deliveries, loading products, seed treating, etc.• Other duties as assigned.You Must:• You must be pursuing an associate or bachelor's degree in an Ag related field with a minimum GPA of 2.5 or higher.- You must be willing to get your Applicator Certification!• Have a passion for Agriculture!• Must be able to lift 50 lbs. from the floor to minimum height of 36".• Must have a valid driver's license with a good driving record.• Work overtime as required.• Must have a CDL or be willing to obtain one with training/assistance from AgState.**Our values ~ RISE: Respect- ~ Integrity ~ Safety ~ Excellence **Equal Opportunity Employer - we work hard to embrace diversity and inclusion and encourage employees at AgState to bring authenticity to work every day.APPLY NOW!
