Growing together.We are seeking adata-focusedCybersecurity Dataanalystto join our team to build out data visualizations and reporting for security-related acquired entity data.This role willbuild outdata management processes to ensure data maintenance, reliability, and integrity for high-level leadershipreporting, as well as buildPower BIreportsfor cybersecurity and operationalmetrics.This role will work withnumerouscolleagues outside of our teamor orgto ensure requirements arebeing fulfilled, as well asensure data accuracy/quality onvisualizationsacrossacquiredentity security platforms.You will enjoy the flexibility to telecommute* from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges.Primary Responsibilities:Build curated tables/views and semantic layers usingadvanced SQLfor consistent reporting and downstream consumptionDevelop andmaintainPower BIdatasets, reports, and DAX measures aligned to business KPIsand security monitoringEnsure data quality and reconciliation (data validation rules, anomaly checks, auditability)Coordinate across teams(security SMEs, data engineers,software engineers, stakeholders,reporting analysts, and governance teams)to ensure alignment,timelydelivery, and positive stakeholder relationshipsWork with engineering to integrate sources via Azure pipelines/functions and ensure reporting performance at scaleDocument definitions for metrics, lineage, and data contracts; support stakeholders on interpretation and usageSupport security/compliance needs for reporting (access controls, row-level security, sensitive data handling)You'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.Required QualificationsHigh School Diploma/GED (or higher)2+years of experiencein data management, data governance,analytics, databases, and cloud infrastructure2+ yearsof Power BIexperience (data modeling, DAX, performance optimization)or equivalent tool like Tableau2+ yearsof experiencein SQL (window functions, incremental patterns, dimensional modeling)1+ years of experienceinbuildingETL/ELT processes into and out ofdatabases(preferably Azure)Preferred QualificationsEnd-to-end data engineering skills (i.e.ETL and automation tools)Python development skills for data analysis and transformationSolid communication skillsinterfacing withinternal stakeholders and colleagues through emails and meetingsHands-on experiencewith Python, Azure Functions,Storage, and related cloud compute/data servicesExperience with Azure data sources and data movement patternsFamiliarity with cybersecurity metrics and common telemetry domains (endpoint, vulnerability, identity, network signals)*All Telecommuters will be required to adhere to UnitedHealth Group's Telecommuter Policy.Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The salary for this role will range from $72,800 to $130,000 annually based on full-time employment.
