Master Plumber -Modular Manufacturing- Affordable Housing
We are seeking a Master Plumber to serve as the technical expert and hands-on leader for all plumbing work within our modular manufacturing facility. In this role, you will supervise a team of plumbers and plumbing technicians, ensuring high-quality installation, code compliance, and efficient production across all modules. You will set daily priorities, support skill development, and maintain a safe, organized, and high-performing work environment.Key ResponsibilitiesDirects and assigns tasks to plumbing staff in alignment with production plans, safety standards, and timelinesReviews work orders and drawings using Offsight; collaborates on problem-solving and provides training and feedbackEstimates material, tool, and equipment needs for plumbing jobsInstalls, repairs, and inspects plumbing systems and fixtures in modular units and facilityEnsures code compliance and responds to plumbing emergenciesOperates, maintains, and reports on tools and equipment to ensure safety and performanceVerifies quality and accuracy of completed workInterprets blueprints and layouts to prepare materialsFollows all safety protocols and company proceduresPrimary Work Location: Romulus, MichiganRequirements Education: High School Diploma or related field, completion of a formal apprenticeship program required, associate's degree preferred.Experience: At least three years' experience as a licensed plumber and previous experience working with diverse populations preferred.Certificates & Licenses: Master Plumbing license required.Other Requirements:Demonstrated ability to understand directions and read blueprints / shop drawings.Extensive knowledge of plumbing systems and drainage.Proficient in the use of test meters and other diagnostic equipment.Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and safety practicesFamiliarity with PVC, CPVC, PEX, cast iron, and copper pipe materialsDemonstrated ability to perform basic arithmetic, solve mathematical problems, and conversion of measurements quickly and accurately.Proficient in use of hand tools and trade tools.Demonstrated ability to work within a team and independently.Ability to travel locally and regionally to attend meetings, visit sites, conferences, etc. as required.Why Join Us?Be part of a forward-thinking company reshaping the future of housingCompetitive pay and benefitsEqual Employment Opportunity & ADA ComplianceGinosko Modular is deeply committed to diversity and fostering an inclusive workplace.
