You’ll perform moderate- and high-complexity testing while upholding the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance.What You’ll DoPerform authorized moderate and high complexity laboratory testing in accordance with CLIA standardsFollow established procedures for specimen handling, testing, analysis, and result reportingMaintain accurate documentation for patient results, quality control, calibrations, and maintenanceMonitor test systems to ensure acceptable performance and take corrective action when neededIdentify, troubleshoot, and escalate issues that may impact test accuracy or reportingDemonstrate strong attention to detail and consistently produce high-quality, reliable workCommunicate effectively with laboratory leadership and team membersWork independently with minimal supervision while using sound judgment and decision-makingAdhere to all laboratory safety protocols and promote a culture of safety and accountabilityWhat We’re Looking ForCertification: ASCP (or equivalent) requiredEducation: Degree appropriate for moderate/high complexity testing per CLIA regulationsExperience: Laboratory experience preferred; strong technical competence expectedProven ability to work accurately, efficiently, and independentlyExcellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skillsCommitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvementWork Environment & Physical RequirementsFrequent concentration and sustained attention to detailRegular exposure to blood, body fluids, and laboratory chemicalsAbility to lift up to 30 lbs and perform fine hand/eye coordination tasksStanding, bending, and movement throughout the shift as neededHappy to HelpAt Meritus, we believe in a collaborative and caring work environment.
