You will engage in core compliance activities, including monitoring the compliance hotline, managing new hire and annual compliance training, conducting compliance monitoring and auditing, and supporting external compliance audits.This role requires a solutions-oriented mindset and strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively promote a culture of integrity, transparency, and accountability at Datavant.Key Responsibilities:Enhance Datavant's compliance program in alignment with the seven elements of compliance.Act as the primary point of contact for the Compliance Hotline, logging, categorizing, and tracking reports to resolution.Identify trends in compliance reports and provide insights to program leadership.Conduct or assist in internal investigations, maintaining appropriate documentation and reporting.Support both internal and external compliance audits through evidence gathering and organization.Collaborate with compliance program management and other team members to ensure compliance with applicable laws and policies.Assist in developing and revising compliance policies, procedures, and Standards of Conduct.Oversee the completion of new hire and annual compliance training and onboarding requirements.Contribute to the creation and revision of compliance training materials.Assist in preparing presentations, reports, and dashboards that communicate compliance activities and trends.Continuously assess and enhance compliance workflows and reporting tools for better efficiency.Promote Datavant's culture of ethical behavior and accountability through proactive communication.Perform additional duties as assigned.Basic Qualifications:2-4 years of experience in Compliance supporting the seven elements of a Compliance Program as defined by the OIG and DOJ.Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, capable of presenting compliance information clearly to diverse audiences.Analytical thinker with a knack for assessing compliance risks and identifying effective solutions.Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in a dynamic remote environment.Experience in supporting audits and responding to auditor requests efficiently.Skilled in data analysis and visualization for compliance reporting.Strong understanding of the seven elements of effective compliance programs as per regulatory expectations.Experience working in healthcare organizations.Experience in a large organizational setting.Ability to independently manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.Desired Qualifications:Familiarity with U.S. healthcare regulatory requirements (e.g., HIPAA, HITECH, CCPA, GDPR, Stark Law, Anti-Kickback Statute).Experience in conducting monitoring or auditing activities, such as control assessments.Understanding of audit methodologies, including sample testing and data analytics.At Datavant, we are dedicated to building a diverse team and providing an environment where all members thrive.
