Please share your updated resume, and I'll reach out to schedule a convenient time to connect.Job title: Senior Engineer – Interior Components & SystemsLocation: Arizona or Michigan (Onsite – 100%)Duration: Long Term ContractMandatory Skills to Highlight4+ years of experience in Interior Components and Systems Development(hard trim, soft trim, instrument panel (IP), door trims, consoles, headliners, etc.)Strong knowledge of automotive interior components and systems, including:Industry benchmarksMarket trendsSupplier capabilitiesProven experience in:Creating and defining technical product specificationsEstablishing and managing development timelinesSupporting accelerated development toward SOP (Start of Production)Hands-on experience with CAD tools for:2D/3D concept designPackaging layoutsDFM (Design for Manufacturing) studiesCATIA V5/V6 preferredVehicle / Product launch experienceSolid understanding of:Plastic part designManufacturing processes (especially injection molding)GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing)Structural performance, ergonomics, and safety requirementsExperience working with suppliers / vendors to ensure:Technical feasibilityOn-time deliveryAbility to work in cross-functional teams (design, engineering, marketing)Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field (mandatory)Location requirement: Must be based in Arizona or Michigan
