We are looking for a Construction Equipment Technician to help support that mission.ResponsibilitiesPerform all levels of repair and preventative maintenance on full line of construction equipmentDiagnostic and troubleshooting for both minor and major repairsBuild and maintain customer, vendor and factory relationshipsPerform repairs within established labor time guidesAchieve over 90% efficiency rating while maintaining quality of workmanshipCreate detailed parts and labor repair scopes for quotingRead and understand electrical and hydraulic schematics, technical blueprints, service and parts diagramsMust be a self-starter with ability to prioritize tasks, stay organized, and stay on task with minimal supervision, ability to communicate well with the Service and Parts Teams.Must be willing to work overtime if needed and be on a rotating on-call listPerform pre and post trip inspections on service trucks per DOT regulationsPossession of or ability to obtain a Class A CDLOther duties as assignedBenefitsCompetitive PayMedical, Dental, Vision & Life Insurance401k with company matchPaid Time OffTraining & Professional DevelopmentPositive and productive work environmentQualificationsPreferred Qualifications3-5 years' experience as a preventative maintenance technician with construction equipment2-4 years' experience as construction equipment technicianAbility to follow Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) specifications.Advanced diagnostics and troubleshooting capabilities for all major and minor repairs of construction equipmentExperience with Develon, Liebherr and Takeuchi products preferredExcellent knowledge and experience in the following areasHydraulicsElectrical SystemsVarious Diesel EnginesBasic Qualifications2+ Years of Construction Equipment Repair ExperiencePossession of or ability to obtain class A CDLMechanical AptitudeHigh School Diploma or GEDAbility to Provide Basic Hand ToolsGood Communications Skills both Verbal and WrittenCritical Thinking, Trouble-Shooting and Problem-Solving SkillsStamina, Attention to Detail and Safety AwarenessVocational Training or ApprenticeshipWork ConditionsPhysical Demands/Work Environment:This position regularly requires walking, standing, sitting, stooping, bending, kneeling and climbing stairs. It also often requires pushing, pulling, twisting, lifting 50+ lbs. and working in a variety of weather conditions and noise levels.
