My client is Chicagoland-based construction services company and a leading builder across multiple market segments. The organization is committed to making a positive difference for clients, employees, and communities, offering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment for construction professionals.This full-time, on-site Construction Superintendent role is based in the Greater Chicago Area. The Construction Superintendent oversees daily field operations, ensuring projects are executed safely, on schedule, and within budget. Responsibilities include coordinating subcontractors and suppliers, managing site logistics, and enforcing safety standards and quality control. The role involves monitoring progress, resolving on-site issues, maintaining detailed documentation, and reporting status updates to project managers and stakeholders. The superintendent also supports inspections, ensures compliance with building codes and company policies, and promotes effective communication among all project participants. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Develop, refine and update the project scheduleComplete knowledge and understanding of contract drawings/specificationsUnderstand project costs and manage company assetsCreate and manage project documentationCoordinate project operations including subcontractors and material vendorsKnowledge of all regulations to ensure all aspects of the project are compliantProvide leadership and maintain effective working relationships with the on-site staffEnforce Safety, Quality, Efficiency and Core valuesDevelop daily crew lists and manage field activities to ensure project completion date is metLead weekly foreman meetingDevelop two-week forecast to proactively identify issues that could lead to problems and facilitate solutionsMaintain regulatory compliance for projectsAbility to interface and maintain good relationship with ownersJob Offer:Base salary ranging from $120,000 to $155,000Yearly bonus ranging from 10% to 20%Vehicle allowance of $750 per monthAetna Healthcare package - individual and family plans offered401K company matchLaptop & company cell phonePTO, Sick Days & Floating Days
