Position Title: Senior Software Engineer (TACL | HPE Nonstop)Location: Jersey City, NJ OR Tampa, FL OR Plano, TX OR Columbus, OHDuration: 12+ Months (Possibility of extension)Job Description:We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team for a mission-critical project focused on credit card transaction processing. This project handles high-value transactions made through e-commerce platforms and retail outlets, requiring real-time, secure, and highly available processing systems.Key Responsibilities:Develop and support applications involved in real-time credit card transactions, including swipes at POS and online purchases.Work on a high-performance platform that manages large-scale transaction volumes.Contribute to coding, troubleshooting, and performance optimization in a 24/7 transactional environment.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and system reliability.Required Skills & Experience:Subject Matter Expertise in TACL, HPE NonStop (Tandem systems), and Prognosis.Solid programming skills with the ability to write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.Prior experience working in high-volume, high-availability financial transaction systems is highly desirable.Preferred Qualifications:Strong hands-on experience with Python as a secondary programming skill.Working knowledge of Java and Ansible for scripting and automation tasks.Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative team environment.About Us:
