Role : Disaster Recovery analystLocation: 100% remoteDuration: 6 MonthsThe OpportunityJoin Client as a Disaster Recovery (DR) Analyst and be a key player in safeguarding ourworld-class brand and reputation! Reporting to the Director of Enterprise Resilience,this role partners closely with product, service, and platform teams to strengthen andmature Client s DR positioning, ensuring plans are complete, technically sound, andaligned to enterprise standards. You will serve as the subject matter expert for disasterrecovery within the realm of Client s Enterprise Resilience efforts, reviewing DR Plansubmissions and ensuring practical restoration strategies are employed to keep criticaltechnologies and services available during disruptions.You ll help formalize, evolve, and scale our DR methodology across all technologiesclassified as critical, integrate it with the One-Client Enterprise Resilience (1-AER)framework, and ensure consistent alignment with Client s ISO 22301-certified businessContinuity & Disaster Recovery program.What you'll Do" Own DR methodology: Define, maintain, and continuously improve Client s DRmethodology (standards, controls, acceptance criteria, and playbooks), alignedwith 1-AER governance and our ISO 22301 BCMS." Program content & enablement: Curate guidance and templates for DisasterRecovery Plans; develop training that raises DR literacy and practice maturityacross engineering and operations." Plan review & assurance: Systematically review DR plans for accuracy,completeness, viability, and conformity to methodology; validate that RTO/RPOtargets from BIA/TIA are supported by architecture and procedures." Technical SME & advisor: Advise product/service teams on resilient patternsgiven their structure and how DR integrates with Business Continuity andEnterprise Resilience." Exercises & validation: Review DR exercise submissions for accuracy andcompleteness. Ensure plans are updated accordingly." Standards alignment: Ensure DR artifacts and controls align to Client smethodology and evolving regulatory resilience expectations (e.g., DORA), andfeed audit/readiness activities." Tooling: Utilize Business Continuity Management (BCM) module withinServiceNow to improve readiness and transparency for DR efforts." Perform other activities as required to support enterprise resilience at Client.What you need to succeed" Demonstrable experience in enterprise resilience, including disaster recoveryplanning spanning 5-10 years." Strong grasp of ISO 22301 and NIST guidance for contingency planning." Ability to read/assess technical designs and runbooks; familiarity with distributedsystems, data replication, backups, network design, identity/access, andobservability." Excellent analytical, verbal, written, and presentation skills" Comfortable collaborating with engineers and leaders; can drive cross-functionalalignment" Good understanding of Financial, Audit, and Information Technology concepts." Outstanding proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel,PowerPoint, Access, SharePoint)." Strong administrative skills, including the ability to develop project plans andachieve target dates." Productive great teammate with the ability to work independently with minimalsupervision."
