Sales Tax Manager

A company is looking for a Sales Tax Specialist to oversee and manage tax-related activities across its operations. Key ResponsibilitiesOversee the preparation, review, and filing of sales and use tax returns Develop and implement tax strategies to optimize positions and minimize liabilities Collaborate with senior leadership to integrate tax strategies with corporate financial goalsRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or MST preferred 7+ years of progressive experience in tax accounting, including 3 years in a supervisory role In-depth knowledge of federal and state tax laws, particularly in sales, property, and payroll taxes Proven experience with Avatax or similar tax compliance and automation tools Strong leadership and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams
