Job Summary:This position is for a Polysomnographer working night shifts (4x10) in a Critical Access, Magnet hospital with 25 beds. The role requires a minimum of two years of experience and involves performing polysomnography studies. Weekend work is required every other weekend. The schedule may be adjusted in discussion with the manager.Location: Jacksonville, Illinois, United States,Responsibilities:Performing polysomnography studies.Patient assessment and monitoring during sleep studies.Data collection and analysis.Maintaining equipment and supplies.Adhering to all safety protocols.Collaborating with other healthcare professionals.Charting in Cerner.Required Skills & Certifications:Minimum two years of experience as a Polysomnographer.Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) certification.Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Proficiency in polysomnography equipment and techniques.Preferred Skills & Certifications:- None specified.Special Considerations:Night shift (4x10), every other weekend.May float to meet facility needs.Schedule requests can be discussed with the manager.Up to 36 hours of call-offs are permitted per 13-week assignment without pay; additional call-offs will be billed.On-call is not required.Pending licenses are accepted.Time off requests should be discussed with the manager.Parking permit required (no cost).Scheduling:Four 10-hour night shifts per week.Every other weekend required.Schedule adjustments can be discussed with the manager.
