Local Class A Truck Driver

Job Description Job Title : Class A CDL Driver - Roll Off TrailerLocation : Portage, MichiganPay: $25 - $27hr - OT after 40hrsSchedule:Monday – FridayStart time at 6:00 AMEnd time between 2:30 - 4:30pmPossible short SaturdaysAveraging 40 - 50 hours per weekOptional warehouse work availablePosition Overview & Key Responsibilities:Drive a Class A CDL Roll-Off Trailer (Automatic and Manual) - these will be wide loads of floor and roof trussesComplete 2 - 6 delivery stops per dayRun mostly local routes within a 200 mile radiusSafely unload materials using a Roll-Off trailer and at times by handEnsure all deliveries are completed accurately and on timePerform daily vehicle inspections and maintain DOT complianceWork closely with warehouse staff and customers to ensure efficient deliveriesMaintain a safe and organized work environment while following company safety proceduresQualifications/Requirements:Valid Class A license required and able to drive Manual TransmissionValid DOT Medical Card required1 – 2 years of CDL driving experience requiredExperience operating a Roll-Off and Wide Loads are preferredAbility to safely lift 75lbsStrong work ethic and ability to work independentlyBenefits:Medical InsuranceDental InsuranceVision InsurancePaid Overtime OpportunitiesEqual Employment Opportunity Statement:Pace Driver's, Inc. is proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity employer.
