Position OverviewA Piping Designer is responsible for the development of a project using Revit/AutoCAD and coordinating with other disciplines. The Piping Designer is an important part of the prefabrication process as they are also expected to use M-Suite to create spool sheets for our in-house fabrication shop.General ResponsibilitiesTranslating 2D drawings to a 3D modelModeling using Revit and AutoCAD (primarily Revit)Clash detection using FlyPaper and NavisWorksBIM coordination with other tradesDevelop spool drawings using M-SuiteCoordinate and participate in meetingsBring attention to problem areas on the jobQualificationsEducation: Higher education degree, high school diploma or GEDMust have proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite, Revit, CAD, and othersBasic understanding of piping systemsMust have a valid driver's license with reliable transportationPositive attitude and strong interpersonal skillsStrong desire for continued growth and learning in a team environmentProblem solving and attention to detail
