Project Controller
We are currently partnered with a leading nuclear fission company who are seeking an experienced Finance Controller. If you are a finance professional in renewable energy, this is a fantastic opportunity to build out all processes for the financial department and build your own team.Duties include:Financial Controlling and Reporting- Collaborate with development teams to monitor project budgets, forecasts, and expenditures monthly.- Ensure accurate cost allocation and perform accrual and cash reconciliations.- Maintain databases for key US contracts, including leases and intercompany agreements.- Review financial statements for compliance with US GAAP, group policies, and other standards.- Assist in preparing quarterly group reporting packages with accounting teams.Financial Management and Improvement- Monitor financial performance against budget and forecast, providing strategic insights.- Prepare financial reports for senior management and Board presentations.- Develop and implement financial policies and tools to enhance efficiency and compliance.- Ensure internal controls safeguard company assets.- Support M&A transactions, including financial and tax due diligence.- Work with the Finance Manager on strategies aligned with company goalsQualifications- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CFA, CPA preferred.- 5+ years of experience in FP&A, financial consulting, or accounting, preferably in renewable energy.- Strong knowledge of US GAAP; IFRS knowledge is a plus.- Self-starter, comfortable with ambiguity, able to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and project management skills.- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
