Together, we can accomplish amazing things.Here’s what the opportunity supported through our TGS Talent Acquisition Team requires:The DevOps Engineer is responsible for creating and implementing automation solutions and Platform Engineering for both cloud-based solutions such as API, IaaS, SaaS, PaaS and on-premises environment (physical and virtual) based on business needs and customer requirements. The ideal candidate should have experience in medium to large businesses and be proficient at extracting customer requirements and working with end users / customers.The engineer will partner with various departments in the organization such as application development, enterprise operations, security, and risk management to provide automation solutions to meet the needs of the customer. Those solutions will include coding and working within tools. Other job responsibilities include creating and assisting with continuous improvement activities. The engineer may also be responsible for creating system monitoring and backup solutions and assisting customer with technical issues.The individual in this position should have experience working in medium to large data center environments and be competent in the technologies listed below; Must have Cloud experience with Microsoft Azure, Amazon AWS or Google Cloud Platform Python Coding for API integration Capable of multitasking and prioritizing in a fast-paced environment, effectively and efficiently Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment Outstanding client service skills and ability to present ideas in user-friendly manner. Designing as required cloud-based Infrastructure as Code using code, Terraform, Azure Bicep, or ARM Templates. Defining and setting development, test, release, update, and support for DevOps processes. Experience with the review, verification, and validation of code developed in a project Experience with GitHub and GitHub Actions Troubleshooting techniques and fixing bugs in code. Experience Automating processes Incident management and root cause analysis Experience setting up and deploying CI/CD pipelines. Monitoring and Analytics for customer experience and KPIs Understanding of security best practices Understanding of cloud concepts Desire to stay current with new technology solutions Strong documentation skills Strong knowledge of coding best practice.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
