As we move forward, we will continue to invest in our people and maintain our top workplace status.If you're excited to contribute to a growing grocery distribution team and are ready to bring your experience and enthusiasm to the table, we’d love to hear from you!RequirementsJob SummaryCoordinate and manage the most efficient loads to remain cost effective as a company, keep the driver safe, keep the customer happy and perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor.Essential Duties And ResponsibilitiesPlan and schedule the driver’s routesSchedule Back Hauls and Pick-upsKeep up with Hours-of-Service RulesOrganize and communicate daily load weights, make changes as necessaryMonitor driver equipment availabilityPerforms other related duties as assigned by management Knowledge of ELD functions Is regular in attendance and complies with the Company Attendance PolicyKnowledge, Skills, And AbilitiesKnowledge of grocery store operations and store locationsSkill in operating various office equipment, such as personal computer (familiarity with Excel is preferred)Ability to pay close attention to detail and coordinate various activities simultaneouslyConsistently communicate with customers, co-workers and business contacts in a courteous and professional manner Ability to work with minimal supervisionAbility to be highly organizedAbility to handle high amounts of stressEducation And ExperienceHigh School graduate or equivalent2-3 Years of related experienceIntermediate Excel skillsExperience in the grocery industry preferredCertco is an equal opportunity employer.
