Field Operations SpecialistThe Field Operations Specialist (the "FOS") serves as a critical operational stabilizer within GLOBAL OPS' Field Management structure. This is a high-responsibility, field-based role designed to ensure coverage continuity, site familiarity, and real-time operational support across assigned regions.This role is not a traditional supervisory position. Instead, it is focused on operational excellence, rapid response, site presence, and quality assurance across multiple locations. The FOS plays a key role in supporting Managers of Field Operations and the Director of Security Operations by ensuring that field operations run smoothly, consistently, and professionally. This role is structured as a developmental pathway into formal field management leadership.Key ResponsibilitiesRegional Shift Coverage & Workforce StabilizationProvide on-site coverage in response to call-outs, absences, and urgent staffing needsFloat between multiple client locations within assigned regionMaintain operational continuity during scheduling gapsSupport staffing stabilization efforts during peak operational periodsSite Familiarization & Operational ReadinessDevelop working knowledge of all assigned sites, including post orders and client expectationsConduct regular site visits and walkthroughsPerform perimeter checks and site checksIdentify operational inconsistencies and escalate appropriatelyIncident Response & Escalation SupportRespond to urgent field incidents in coordination with Company ManagementSupport proper incident documentation and reportingMaintain composure and professionalism during high-pressure situationsReinforce escalation protocols and operational standardsQuality Assurance & Standards EnforcementReinforce company protocols and professional conduct standardsSupport onboarding shadowing for new agentsProvide real-time feedback to Managers regarding operational trendsModel accountability, punctuality, and field professionalismAuthority & Reporting StructureReports directly to the Manager of Field OperationsNo direct reportsNo hiring, termination, or disciplinary authorityNo client contract ownershipThis role supports field management.QualificationsMinimum 5 years of private security or related operational experienceValid NYS Security Guard License (required)Valid NYS Armed Guard License (required for Armed role)Strong understanding of field security operationsAbility to travel between multiple NYC locationsProfessional communication skills (verbal and written)Ability to remain calm under pressureStrong situational awareness and decision-making abilityPhysical & Work RequirementsAbility to stand and walk for extended periodsAbility to travel between sites throughout NYCFlexibility for evenings, weekends, and emergency coverageAbility to respond to urgent operational needsWhat Success Looks LikeReliable coverage stabilizationClear, professional incident escalationStrong site familiarity across regionReduced operational disruptionPositive client and internal feedbackDemonstrated readiness for advancement into Field ManagementCareer PathSecurity Agent ?
