Join us as we grow.Cause Lab is seeking a highly organized Marketing Coordinator who is creatively sharp, intellectually curious and excellent at time management. This role sits at the center of how our work gets made and goes out into the world. This is an opportunity to work across creative, strategy, execution and digital performance in a hands-on environment.This position reports to the Managing Director and works closely with the Creative Director and Design Director daily. The role requires attention to detail, flexibility, an entrepreneurial spirit and a genuine desire to make impactful work.This is an ideal job for an outgoing “people person” who enjoys working in a creative, fast-paced environment and wearing many hats. The right candidate is as comfortable tracking notes and deliverables from a multifaceted client meeting as they are running a Facebook ad campaign or designing a pitch deck. The position is for a full time independent contractor and operates on a hybrid schedule, based in New York City.A successful applicant has:1–3 years experience working in marketing/advertising, either at an agency or in-house.Comfort working on multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, client-facing role.Experience with industry-standard creative tools such as Adobe Creative Cloud, Figma and Canva.Familiarity with digital advertising platforms (Meta, Google Ads or similar) and curiosity about how paid media drives impact; hands-on experience is a plus.Ability to think creatively and strategically.A desire to work collaboratively and understand client and stakeholder needs, and enjoys partnering with colleagues at all levels of the organization.Ability to work through ambiguity, ask good questions and take initiative to deliver high-quality work on time.Permanent work authorization in the U.S.; we are unable to sponsor visas.Everyday tasks include:Project coordination:Maintain Basecamp across multiple projects, ensuring every deliverable has an owner, due date and clear next stepTrack timelines, flag risks or blockers early and follow up with team members to keep projects movingSupport client communication by preparing accurate project and weekly status updatesSupport scheduling internal and client meetings Marketing execution:Support the creation and execution of organic marketing campaigns across email, social and digital channelsSupport the creation and execution of paid marketing campaigns across social media platforms and Google Ads, as neededSet up and send email campaigns, including A/B subject line testingSchedule and publish social contentPerformance and learning:Track performance metrics (email opens, clicks, social engagement, sales)Excel proficiency, with the ability to manage, manipulate and analyze basic data Compile simple weekly snapshots of what’s working and what’s not Assist in organizing paid media performance data to support reporting and optimizationHelp build a consistent feedback loop across campaignsAdditional:Work with Creative leadership to support deck creationSource and manage external vendors (printers, fabricators, production partners), ensuring smooth, high-quality executionCopywriting and content creation for campaignsCoordinate and execute client activations and on-the-ground eventsAdditional duties as neededThis position is hybrid (3 days a week in-person required), is located in New York City and may require some travel.Full Time Independent Contractor, $5,000-$5,500/monthTo apply, please send a resume, cover letter, and portfolio or website to trent@causelab.io and abby@causelab.io with the subject line Marketing Coordinator – [YOUR NAME]People of color, people with nontraditional backgrounds, immigrants, people with diverse gender identities and expressions, people of all ages and others from marginalized groups are strongly encouraged to apply.
