The role focuses on system validation, network testing, and automation for high-performance embedded platforms.Required Skills & ExperienceExperience in DevQA, System QA, or Validation Engineering for embedded ornetworking productsStrong understanding of RDK-B, OpenWRT, or prplOS-based systemsSolid experience with embedded Linux (logs, process analysis, memory usage, crashdebugging)Strong Knowledge Of TCP/IP Networking IncludingPacket flow and forwarding pathsRouting and bridgingMulticast, QoS, and traffic prioritizationHands-on experience with IPv6 and coexistence with IPv4Proficiency with Linux networking tools (tcpdump, Wireshark, iperf, ss, ethtool)Experience with version control and code review tools (Git, Gerrit)Strong analytical, debugging, and documentation skillsAutomation & Tooling (Core Focus)Design And Implement Automation ForNetwork performance benchmarkingStress, soak, and longevity testingConfiguration validation and rollback scenariosDevelop reusable Python-based test libraries and CLI-driven automationAutomate log collection, analysis, and failure triageIntegrate test suites with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI)Experience with containerized or virtualized test environments is a plus
