We are known for exceptional craftsmanship, thoughtful design, and meticulous attention to detail, and we are seeking an Interior Designer who shares that same standard of excellence.The ideal candidate will have excellent creative thinking skills and be able to create designs based on conversations with a client. The candidate should be confident communicating regularly with the client in order to assess their needs and be able to adjust a given approach based on feedback. The candidate should maintain familiarity with the interior design landscape and trends in order to provide the best ideas for clients.  What You’ll Do∙ Lead interior selections for custom client homes and spec residences∙ Prepare and present finish palettes, selection packages, and design documentation∙ Produce drawings and visual presentations using AutoCAD, SketchUp, and/or Revit∙ Source, order, and track all selections including plumbing fixtures, tile, hardware, cabinetry, and finishes∙ Manage design budgets and communicate variances with clients and project managers∙ Attend site meetings to verify installation quality and resolve field conditions∙ Coordinate with vendors and trade partners regarding lead times, deliveries, and specificationsWhat We’re Looking For∙ 3–5 years of interior design experience, preferably in luxury residential or custom home building∙ Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD required; Revit and SketchUp experience preferred∙ Refined eye for luxury materials, finishes, scale, and spatial composition∙ Polished presentation and client communication skills∙ Ability to manage multiple active projects with strong organization and attention to detail∙ Comfortable working on job sites alongside construction teams and subcontractors∙ Degree or certification in Interior Design preferredWhy Wells Homes∙ Opportunity to work on high-end custom homes in two of Dallas’ most prestigious neighborhoods∙ Collaborative, entrepreneurial environment with direct involvement in the design and construction process∙ Competitive compensation and opportunity for long-term growthTo apply, please submit your resume and portfolio to careers@wellshomes.comA portfolio of completed work is required for consideration.
