Pharmacy Technician ProcessorAmeriPharma is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Pharmacy Technician Processor to join our team. In this role, you will play a critical part in supporting pharmacy operations by accurately processing prescriptions, communicating with patients and healthcare providers, and ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, possess strong communication skills, and be committed to delivering exceptional patient care.Schedule DetailsOn-site, Orange, CA.8 hour shift/40 hours a week within hours of operations: Monday - Friday 6:00am-6:00pm, Saturdays 7:30am-4:00pmDuties and ResponsibilitiesEnter patient information and prescription details into the pharmacy's computer system.Accurately type new and/or refill prescriptions.Communicate with patients regarding prescriptions.Communicate with other pharmacies to obtain and follow up on transfer requests.Communicate with prescriber offices to obtain and follow up on new prescription requests.Assist in answering new patient questions via phone and text.Preferred QualificationsExcellent customer service skillsExcellent verbal and written communicationStrong attention to detailTeam playerAble to work and thrive in a fast-paced environmentFlexible and adaptable to changeAbility to type at least 40 WPMEducation/Experience RequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalentActive CA Pharmacy Technician License6 months to 1+ year of pharmacy technician experienceAmeriPharma's Mission StatementOur goal is to achieve superior clinical and economic outcomes while maintaining the utmost compassion and care for our patients.
