Working as a Vending Assembly Material Handler, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient movement, storage, and availability of materials required for vending machine assembly operations. This role supports production by staging components, maintaining organized inventory levels, and delivering parts to assembly workstations to keep the production process running smoothly. Placement will occur ASAP.POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:Transport raw materials, components, and subassemblies to vending assembly lines according to production schedules. Stage and organize parts at assembly stations to ensure assemblers have the materials required for uninterrupted workflow. Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials against packing slips and inventory records. Maintain accurate inventory counts and report shortages, damaged materials, or discrepancies to supervisors. Restock assembly bins and kanban locations to maintain appropriate inventory levels. Safely operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks, carts, and forklifts (if certified). Maintain clean and organized material storage areas and assembly line supply areas. Assist with cycle counts and periodic physical inventory activities. Remove scrap materials, packaging, and excess inventory from assembly areas. Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve material flow and production efficiency. Follow all company safety procedures, OSHA regulations, and quality standards. Assist other departments such as shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations as needed.Experience and Skills REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:Must be age 21+ in order to drive a company vehicle Valid drivers license with clean driving recordKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS POSITION:High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous experience in manufacturing, assembly support, warehouse, or material handling preferred. Ability to safely operate pallet jacks and forklifts (certification may be required). Basic understanding of inventory control and material flow processes. Ability to read production schedules, part numbers, and work instructions. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:Ability to lift, slide, and lower packages that typically weigh up to 50lbs Frequent twisting, bending, standingThis job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
