End Dump Tractor Trailer Driver

Welcome to Sullivan Hauling!We are looking for qualified end dump drivers for our multi-year contract.We are a dynamic and growing company located in the heart of Hanover. As a small business, we pride ourselves on fostering a close-knit, family-like atmosphere where every team member is valued and has the opportunity to make a significant impact.The trucks are fueled nightly, and maintained on site for you.Must have Frameless End Dump experience and manual transmission experience.Duties and Responsibilities:Safely drive truck to and from destination applying knowledge of DOT driving regulations and area roadsCheck loads to ensure product is being hauled in an appropriate and safe manner to adjust to desired levelVerify directions with plant personnel before leaving the plant to ensure delivery to the correct customer and job siteStrive to meet customer expectationsAssist other company employees as neededComplete pre and post trip inspections on truck equipment.Maintain good working knowledge of the traffic routes of the areaMust be able to take orders, instructions, and guidance from supervisors and managementAdhere to all company, DOT and OSHA rules and regulations at all timesMeet or exceed company safety standardsPerform other job responsibilities as assignedQualifications: Minimum Requirements:Must possess a valid PA issued commercial driver's license, Class A licenseBe at least 21 years of ageMVR - No DUI's or DWI's in the last 5 years, no more than 2 moving violations in the previous 3 yearsEnd Dump Driver experience needed Physical Requirements and Environmental Demands: Requires walking, sitting, lifting, pushing, pulling, and climbing to a significant degreeExerting 50 - 100 pounds of force occasionallyExerting 25 - 50 pounds of force frequentlyExerting 10 - 20 pounds of force continuallyWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear, in order to communicate to employees/customers as well as function safely around heavy rolling equipmentMust be able to perform all job functions which include, but may not be limited to, pushing, turning, and/or pulling of controlsMust pass DOT physical to include hearing test and drug/alcohol screenContinuous exposure to extreme heat, extreme cold, extreme noise, and working outdoorsMust wear protective equipment while on the jobJob Type: Full-time Pay: $1,200.00 - $2,100.00 per weekBenefits:Dental insuranceEmployee discountFlexible scheduleHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offVision insuranceSchedule: 10 hour shift12 hour shiftDay shiftHome dailyHome timeMonday to FridayMorning shiftYear round workExperience: Frameless End Dump: 1 year (Required)Manual transmission: 1 year (Required)License/Certification: CDL A (Required)Ability to Commute: Hanover, PA 17331 (Required)Ability to Relocate: Hanover, PA 17331: Relocate before starting work (Required)
