Together, we can build what matters!This position encompasses the audit of all engines during various stages of the build process. The main responsibilities include auditing engines for compliance to the appropriate documentation; accurately recording all engine non-conformances in the AQE system and communicating found engine non-conformances to the appropriate person for repair. This person will work closely with all assembly personnel, support groups, and assembly management to meet product quality goals and objectives and will at times assist in quality functions outside of the audit process. This position will rotate throughout various quality gates in the assembly areas and will therefor require that the individual train in multiple areas.Job Duties/Responsibilities May Include, But Are Not Limited ToLearning Caterpillar Systems and using them appropriately (MESA, AQE, etc.)Computer Skills – Microsoft Teams, EmailStrong customer focus approach, communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to work with diverse groups.Strong quality mindset to protect our customersInspect engine using provided enhance checklist to stop defects from moving forward.Ability to be flexible within our facility.Basic QualificationsTorque conceptGauging skillsQuality experienceEngine knowledgePrint reading skillsBasic computer skillsTop Candidates Will AlsoBe flexible to work overtime as needed to support production demands. Possess and show strong interpersonal skills and apply customer-based focus.Physical RequirementsMust be able to lift, push, and pull up to 40 lbs.Must be able to bend and twist at the waist and be able to squat.Must be able to stand for long periods of time.Consistent usage of required PPE for task being performedWork in an environment with frequently changing temperaturesStanding and/or sitting at a desk while performing tasksAdditional InformationPosition is for 2nd shift – 2:30pm to 10:30pmRelocation assistance is NOT offered for this position.
