In this role, you will lead a hybrid team of onshore and offshore engineers while maintaining a strong hands-on presence in code review, debugging, and production support.This is a hybrid technical leadership role—60% focused on engineering execution (code reviews, production debugging, developer support) and 40% on project delivery, team coordination, and Agile process leadership. You’ll work cross-functionally with business, DevOps, QA, and product stakeholders to drive execution and ensure consistent delivery.Key ResponsibilitiesTechnical Execution (60%)Lead code reviews and provide hands-on technical guidance in React.js, TypeScript, and JavaScript.Troubleshoot and debug production issues; analyze logs to identify root causes.Collaborate with developers to ensure quality, consistency, and best practices in front-end implementation.Oversee and contribute to enhancements across modern web architecture, including React and API layers.Team & Project Leadership (40%)Lead a globally distributed development team, with daily interaction and sprint execution coordination.Act as Scrum Master or Agile facilitator to drive sprint planning, backlog grooming, and stand-ups.Translate business needs into clear user stories and technical tasks.Coordinate delivery with internal business stakeholders and external partners (e.g., payment platforms).Track delivery progress, resolve blockers, and escalate risks appropriately.Support post-deployment monitoring, feedback loops, and iteration cycles.Required Qualifications7+ years of professional experience in front-end development with strong command of: Nest.js, React.js, TypeScript, and JavaScriptAt least 2+ years in a technical lead or team lead role within Agile/Scrum environments.Proven experience managing offshore development teams, including running standups and tracking velocity.Familiarity with production debugging tools, logging systems, and modern CI/CD workflows.Excellent communication skills with a proactive approach to resolving team or project-level issues.
