Become a part of our caring communityThe Talent Management Lead defines, operationalizes, and evaluates enterprise talent solutions that support organizational strategy and workforce readiness. You will lead projects across management development, talent management, succession planning, workforce architecture, and skill-based frameworks. The Talent Management Lead works on problems of diverse scope and complexity—ranging from moderate to substantial—and determines appropriate actions that manage critical decisions.The Talent Management Lead evaluates employee training and development programs, assesses organizational needs and outcomes, and designs new solutions or enhances existing programs. You will serve as a trusted advisor to executives, guiding functional or segment- specific talent strategies that address matters of organizational significance.You will operate within a large, enterprise-scale environment and require capability navigating complex landscapes, along with demonstrated expertise in skills architecture and talent frameworks. You will assess multifaceted situations, evaluate options, and determine appropriate courses of action that support enterprise priorities and outcomes. This role reports to the Associate VP, Talent Management.You will:Lead the design, implementation, and scaling of enterprise skill architectures, competency models, and workforce taxonomiesDevelop enterprise-level skill frameworks in consideration of talent management, workforce planning, and skill-based organization strategiesTranslate complex work activities into clear, structured, and reusable skill definitions across job familiesEvaluate skill models to ensure consistency and enterprise applicabilityPartner with HR and business leaders on job architecture and organization design, supporting skill-based workforce conceptsLead skill and framework design workshops, engaging partners in discovery and validationCollaborate with partners to co-design and validate skills and competency frameworks, incorporating business and enterprise needsApply analytical reasoning and pattern recognition to assess workforce trends, gaps, and framework effectivenessInfluence senior leaders through subject-matter expertise, data-driven insights and communicationAdvise executives on talent, workforce, and skill strategies, exercising independent decision-making on complex issuesUse your skills to make an impactRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in human resources, Business, Organizational Development, Industrial/Organizational Psychology or a related field.8+ years of experience in one or more of the following areas:Workforce architecture or workforce planningSkill or competency framework designOrganizational or job architectureTalent management or HR transformationDemonstrated experience working in a large, enterprise-scale, across teams and responsibilitiesDemonstrated experience exercising independent decision-making, analyze complex variables, and influence senior partners on matters of organizational significanceTravel is as needed to attend workshops and meetingsWork at Home GuidanceTo ensure Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees' ability to work effectively, the self-provided internet service of Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees must meet the following criteria:At minimum, a download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps is required; wireless, wired cable or DSL connection is required.Satellite, cellular and microwave connection can be used only if approved by leadership.Employees who live and work from Home in the state of California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota will be provided a bi-weekly payment for their internet expense.Humana will provide Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees with telephone equipment appropriate to meet the business requirements for their position/job.Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information.Interview FormatAs part of our hiring process, we use an interview platform called HireVue to support timely and thoughtful hiring decisions. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.$104,000 - $143,000 per yearThis job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan.
