Fund Accountant - Hedge Fund

A stellar opportunity for a strong public accountant just opened up in Greenwich! A $15B hedge is adding a fund accounting professional to support their fast growing team. This will focus primarily on the fund's private hedge funds, and work in a project oriented role collaborating with IR, FP&A, Valuations and Operations. This is a fantastic opportunity for an early career fund accountant looking to work at a world-class organization with strong name recongition and a pattern of promotion from within.Responsibilities:Create the financial and management reportsManage daily NAVs as well as other daily/weekly/monthly reportingHandle PNL calculations, allocations, and incentive fee calculations.Work closely with traders to reconcile trade breaks and settlementsCollaborate with tax team on year end tax-return information and tax projections throughout the yearHelp develop accounting policies and implement automation and AI integrationsReview and manage expense budgets and projects related to expense projections and deal allocationsHandle cash/position management - reviewing margin requirements and daily cash flowsWork closely with tax team to prepare deliverables and support for complianceAssist with PMS data management and integrationRequirements:2-4 years of experience in public accounting, private accounting, or public/private mixBachelors degree in accounting and/or financeStrong Excel skillsCPA preferred
