Clinical Nurse/Patient Care Coordinator Job OpeningCore Family Practice is an outpatient direct primary care practice in Kennett Square, PA that has been serving the community since 2016. We are a unique medical office that does not require insurance but rather runs on a monthly membership. Our physicians have smaller panels of patients (max 600 each) and provide more comprehensive, personal, and accessible care. We are a family practice that cares for all ages and we also work with businesses to care for their employees. We aim to create a clinical environment that is the opposite of the large health systems for both our patients and employees.We are looking for a highly motivated, personable, and caring individual to be our clinical nurse. This position is for the lead nurse responsible for assisting the physicians with clinical care. The position also includes administrative front desk duties as outlined below.It is important for any candidate to want to work as part of a team and provide excellent customer service.Responsibilities· Onboard new patients· Triage patient's clinical questions/calls· Draw Labs/Perform EKGs/IVs/Administer meds/Allergy Shots etc· Assist with in-office procedures (i.e. Pap smears, suturing, biopsies etc)· Assist with Sports Medicine Clinic (i.e. Platelet Rich Plasma Injections)· Check in patients (i.e. rooming and obtain vital signs)· Run in-office tests – Urinalysis/Strep/Pregnancy tests (MA to help with this)· Manage exam room and lab inventory· Manage Quest/Lab Corp/MDL/Andameds/Cole Diagnostics; work with reps· Manage medication inventory/ordering· Assist with medication dispensing· Manage patient medication refill requests· Help patients set up cash pay radiology/specialist visits· Coach weight management/diabetic patients' towards their goals· Home lab draws/med administrations as needed· Manage biohazard waste· HIPPA/CLIA/OSHA compliance lead· Complete Prior authorizations· Patient subscription management· Manage onboarding patients to our communication toolQualificationsLPN or RN RequiredPhlebotomy experienceA minimum of 2 years of professional experience in a clinic or medical practice preferred
