See our products and videos at www.greenvalleyinc.com and join a great company within a niche space!Responsibilities & Tasks:Perform a full lifecycle product development (design, develop, test prototypes, manufacture and implement)Develops both custom and standard product lines and streamlines the process for future similar orders.Evaluates mechanical and electromechanical systems and products by designing and applying principles of mechanics, thermodynamics, hydraulics, heat transfer, and materials.Occasional travel for preliminary quote development, spec. reviews, or field commissioning and testing.Assist in estimate budget and scope of project for building quotes for customersDevelops mechanical and electromechanical products by studying customer requirements; researching and testing manufacturing and assembly methods and materials; soliciting observations from operators.Assures system and product quality by designing testing methods; testing finished- product and system capabilities; confirming fabrication, assembly, and installation processes.Prepares product reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.Provides engineering information by answering questions and requests.Maintains product and company reputation by complying with government regulations.Completes projects by training and guiding technicians.Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.Job Qualifications:Familiarity with 2D or 3D engineering design and manufacturing tools (e.g., AutoCAD, ProE or other)Solid understanding of core concepts including mechanics, kinematics, thermodynamics, hydraulics, materials science etc.Must have the ability to utilize their design skills to analyze customer requirements on new and existing equipmentPresent technical information, designs and ideas to customers via email, telephone, and in personMust be able to work with the engineering team as a whole to complete projects in a safe and timely mannerMust be able stand, walk and use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls. The employee frequently is required to talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch or craw.The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
