Job Summary At GoHealth Urgent Care, we place the needs of our patients first - by providing an effortless patient experience, a welcoming culture of care and seamless integration with market-leading health systems and our communities. The GoFollowUp NP or PA answers incoming calls from patients/customers and conducts outreach to patients to relay details on patient visit. Responsible for answering inquiries and questions, handles complaints, troubleshoots problems and provides information for patients/customers. Job Requirements Education Graduate from and accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program. Work Experience 3+ years of clinical practice experience required. Emergency Medicine/Urgent Care preferred. Previous exposure and awareness on how to deliver lab results to our patients. Required Licenses/Certifications Active Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant State License Additional Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required Proficient in relevant computer applications/electronic medical records Ability to type quickly, basic computer knowledge Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel Detail oriented, able to rely on experience and judgment to perform a variety of tasks Exceptional written and verbal communication skills Able to interact and treat all persons with fairness, respect and sensitivity to cultural/social differences Experience with electronic medical records Required language proficiency Knowledge of administration and clerical processes Knowledge of call center telephony and technology Core Competencies: Collaboration: Takes ownership for collectively establishing productive partnerships and relationships and seek to gain joint understanding of priorities and objectives so that the greater good of the organization and those we serve is always at the forefront. Responsible for relaying results and care plan to patients, explaining results and answering questions from patients Respond to escalated questions and concerns as needed. Respond to patient inquiries both telephonically and by email regarding patient visit and follow up. Identify and prioritize patient needs Responsible for outreach for patient follow-up.
