Accountant

The ideal candidate will be involved with preparing financial reports and statements, bank reconciliations, and conducting cyclical audits. Moreover, the candidate must have strong interpersonal skills and possess a strong business acumen. ResponsibilitiesPrepare and analyze monthly journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reports for monthly financial closing process using ERP system (Syteline) and Microsoft Excel.Generates and analyzes reports for monthly financial closing process.Prepare reports for external accounting firm for annual audits and income tax returns.Manage accounts payable function, including inputting purchase order and expense invoices, issuing all vendor payments, and maintaining and updating vendor records.Participate in annual budget process.Assist with business tax filings such as sales tax returns and annual reports.Train as back-up and assist as needed with accounts receivable function.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting or related fieldAbility to interpret and analyze financial statements and periodicalsFluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)https://recruiting.paylocity.com/recruiting/jobs/All/0eb6aa9e-a1ac-4d67-971c-f63b9ebd5fdb/Coburn-Technologies-Inc
