Senior Full Stack Java Developer We are seeking an experienced Senior Full Stack Java Developer for a long-term W2 contract opportunity in New York City, NY. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, AWS, Data Engineering, and the Financial Services/Investment Banking domain. Job Details Location: New York City, NY (100% Onsite – 5 Days/Week) Employment Type: W2 Contract Rate: Up to $70/hour on W2 Interview: Onsite Interview (Mandatory) Preferred Candidates: Candidates currently located in or able to commute to New York City. Work Authorization: Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field from an accredited institution, or equivalent professional experience. 12+ years of professional software development experience. Strong experience developing Java-based APIs and Microservices using Spring Boot. Hands-on experience with AWS and Apache Kafka. Experience with Angular. Strong SQL skills, including stored procedures, functions, and data warehousing. Experience with Neo4j Graph Database. Experience with Salesforce CRM. Experience with Business Intelligence tools such as Tableau CRM, Cognos, or Power BI. Experience with ETL and Data Engineering tools such as MuleSoft, StreamSets, and Databricks. Experience with TDD/BDD, unit testing, and collaboration with QA teams. Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies. Experience in the Financial Services or Investment Banking domain is required. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain Java-based APIs and Microservices. Build scalable, secure, and high-performance enterprise applications. Collaborate with data engineers, application developers, and product managers to deliver enterprise solutions. Develop and integrate data-driven business applications. Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning and backlog grooming. Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following industry best practices. Troubleshoot production issues and support continuous improvement initiatives.
