Data Engineer II
RC Willey is seeking a Data Engineer to collect, analyze, and interpret data that supports informed business decisions and drives performance. This role will develop data solutions using SQL, Power BI, and other Microsoft tools, collaborating with cross-functional teams to build efficient data models, create impactful visualizations, and ensure data accuracy across the organization.Salary: $100-120k annual salary (dependent on experience)**This role is on-site at our Salt Lake City, UT Corporate Office. Remote work and relocation support are not offered**Key ResponsibilitiesUtilize SQL to query and extract dataDevelop Power BI dashboards for various business unitsCreate PowerApps as needed to support project goalsWork with end users to design effective visualizationsExtract data from multiple sources to provide visualization to accommodate the needs of the companyValidate the data displayed to the end usersRefine data base designs and data structure for efficiency in modelsAnalyze key metrics and identify patternsCollaborate with teams and stakeholders on data projects.All other duties as assignedSkills And QualificationsBachelor’s degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, required5+ years of technical and relevant data engineering experienceExpert SQL skills, including stored procedure developmentProficient in SSIS, Power BI, data warehousing, and Microsoft Visual StudioStrong programming and database skills using C# and/or Python preferredExperience creating and maintaining Power AppsStrong Data Modeling skillsExperience in ETL processesExperience in data analytics and data visualizationsFamiliarity in sales, inventory, accounting data analysis and data modelsStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesDetail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to perform under pressureReady to join the team?
