Audiologist - AMG ENT - Part-timeAudiologist Description:Part-time position (3 days a week)Pediatric training/experience with pediatric patients preferredHearing aid dispensingFull equipped audiology booth within OP ENT Clinic with one physician and one NOProvides professional healthcare for patients who have hearing, balance, and related ear problemsAssessment and diagnosis of hearing and balance disordersTreatment of hearing and balance disordersIdentification of hearing statusDemonstrates a consistent level of performance and productivityUnderstands importance of excellent customer services and teamworkMaintains safe environment for patients, co-workers and selfAssumes responsibility for professional development and ongoing education to maintain a high degree of proficiencyMust use holistic approach to care of patientsMust demonstrate excellent communication skills, both written and verbalMust demonstrate competency in basic audiology skillsMust possess the ability to learn basic educations degrees, education certifications or national certificationsGood physical and mental healthMust be able to lift, pull, and push using good body mechanics without limitationsMust possess visual acuity with corrective lenses to read printed material and visualize patients to the degree that changes in color or respiration can be detected; hearing ability with auditory aids to understanding the normal speaking voice without viewing the speaker and auscultation of the chest using a stethoscope; and speaking ability to wear properly fitting respiratory protective mask for periods of time without limitationsAble to work under supervision or independently as directed by the situationsMaintains a professional imageMakes a conscientious effort to help maintain a clean, safe and secure environmentAssumes responsibility for institutional requirementsInterpersonal skillsDemonstrates pride in the organizationStrives to work well as a team memberAudiologist Education/Experience:Doctorate in Audiology licensed in the State of GeorgiaBoard Certified in Audiology preferredMinimum 3 years of experience preferredWhat Sets Us ApartArchbold Medical Center is a four-hospital, three nursing-home health system with 540 patient beds.
