Key Responsibilities: Patient Assessments: Conduct comprehensive evaluations to determine each patient’s emergency needs. Customized Treatment Plans: Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to support patients in their recovery journey. Collaborative Care: Work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including MD’s, Surgeons and nursing staff, to provide emergency care. Monitor and Document Progress: Maintain accurate records of patient progress, updating treatment plans as necessary to meet regulatory and facility standards. Patient and Family Education: Educate patients and their families on emergency care plans. Unit Notes- Unit: ER - Fast track: 4 bed fastTrack - # beds/trauma bays: 32 beds and 6 treatment chairs - # Psych/seclusion rooms: room set up specifically for psych, but they have a large population of psych that they use other rooms for psych - # patients per day: 208 per day, up to 317 depending how busy they are - Certs: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNCC is preferred - Ratios: 1 to 4, 1 to 1 or 2 if ICU status - EMR: Cerner Qualifications: Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in California in good standings. 2 Years’ Experience in a fast-paced ER. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient-centered approach to care. BLS (Basic Life Support) & ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) & PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale COVID Vaccination REQUIRED Why Santa Maria, CA?
