RPSGT - Polysomnographic Sleep Technologist (Day Shift Supervisor)

Job Description Position SummaryWe are seeking an experienced and motivated Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) to serve as our Day Shift Supervisor. This leadership role supports clinical excellence, staff development, quality assurance, and operational oversight across our sleep labs.This position collaborates closely with and reports directly to the Clinical Director (RPSGT, RST). The ideal candidate is clinically strong, organized, adaptable, and confident in both independent work and team leadership.QualificationsActive RPSGT credential (verified through the BRPT)Current Tennessee Polysomnography LicenseStrong knowledge of AASM standards and sleep lab best practicesAbility to work independently while following clinical directionExcellent time management and organizational skillsStrong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with providers, staff, night technologists, and patientsWillingness to travel quarterly to other lab locations (mileage reimbursed)Flexibility to assist with occasional after-hours calls or nights, as neededKey ResponsibilitiesTrain and onboard new sleep technologistsProvide ongoing coaching, performance feedback, and clinical mentorshipConduct daytime sleep studies as neededPerform scoring and overscoring of sleep studiesProvide clinical oversight, quality control, and compliance monitoringAssist with inter-scorer reliability (ISR) and quality improvement initiativesMonitor lab inventory and assist with equipment troubleshootingSupport AASM accreditation requirements, audits, and corrective actionsCollaborate with leadership to improve processes and operational efficiencyThis is a newly developed leadership position within our organization.
