Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg Discipline: RN Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel RN Position Job Notes: Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. 750 referral bonus available. Opportunity: RN - Med Surg Adult Job Details: • Work 12-hour day shifts from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM • Every other weekend and holiday coverage required • May be required to float to other units as needed • Current Wisconsin nursing license required • CPR/BLS certification required • NIHSS certification required • Education verification required • Must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 and Flu • Utilize the nursing process and collaborate with interdisciplinary team members • Administer prescribed medications and treatments according to approved nursing techniques and policies • Document patient care according to standards of care • Develop, initiate, and execute individualized patient care plans • Participate in department performance improvement activities and shared governance • Provide clinical expertise and guidance to support patient care across units • Utilize critical thinking for patient safety and appropriately escalate concerns Facility: This healthcare facility is a comprehensive hospital and trauma center that provides a full range of medical services to the community.
