Senior Accounting Manager

Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Senior Accounting Manager to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $140,000 to $160,000 per year. Job Responsibilities:Lead month end and quarter end close activities by assigning tasks reviewing entries reconciliations and ensuring timely accurate reporting.Manage audit readiness by coordinating documentation supporting internal control testing and regulatory reporting requirements.Develop and maintain accounting policies procedures and risk management practices while ensuring compliance with accounting standards.Drive process improvement and automation initiatives to improve efficiency accuracy and system performance.Partner with leadership and cross functional teams to analyze results provide insights and support strategic decisions. Requirements:A Bachelor degree in accounting finance or business administration.8+ years of progressive accounting experience including time in both public accounting and industry.Demonstrate strong technical knowledge of accounting standards internal controls and reporting frameworks.Use Excel and enterprise systems confidently with advanced spreadsheet and reporting capabilities.Possess prior experience supervising and leading accounting professionals in a growth focused environment. Qualifications:Mentor and develop senior and staff accountants through coaching performance feedback and skill development.Communicate clearly with internal teams external partners and management to track progress and resolve issues.Manage complex organizational structures while driving alignment and accountability across departments.Apply strong analytical problem solving and organizational skills to large volumes of financial data.Show initiative sound judgment and the ability to work independently while supporting continuous improvement efforts.REF#52186
