Find out more about our flexible work culture at computershare.com/flex.A role you will loveThe Business Negotiations Consultant III is a senior-level role within Computershare’s Corporate Trust business, focused on capital markets and structured finance. The position plays a critical role in onboarding new business, strengthening client relationships, managing risk, and helping the business adapt to evolving market conditions and client needs.The successful candidate will be a strong communicator who can connect with clients, develop a deep understanding of their business, and drive additional opportunities while building trusted, long-term relationships. This is a fast-paced, demanding role with significant visibility and impact across the organization.Key ResponsibilitiesLead onboarding of new business, including documentation management, risk assessment, internal coordination, and readiness for executionBuild, maintain, and deepen client relationships by understanding client objectives, business models, and transaction structures across the deal lifecycleServe as a trusted primary point of contact for clients, attorneys, investment banks, and internal stakeholders, including senior‑level partnersReview, analyze, negotiate, and sign complex transactional documentation related asset-backed structured finance securitizations, debt issuance, and custodial administrationDrive risk mitigation and provide recommendations on deal terms, document language, pricing, and structural considerationsIdentify, evaluate, and help vet new business opportunities, assessing appropriateness and alignment with the ABS Corporate Trust line of businessEnsure client satisfaction and retention by resolving moderately complex technical, operational, and account service issues using practical, risk‑aware solutionsCoordinate and manage multiple concurrent deal closings while meeting tight deadlines and quality standardsCollaborate closely with Sales, Relationship Management, Legal, Middle Office, and Operations teams, including providing process and subject‑matter expertise for sales calls, meetings, and presentationsIndependently conduct research, process definition, and improvement initiatives; lead or participate in special projects as assignedWhat will you bring to the role? Qualifications & Experience7+ years of corporate trust experience3+ years of experience with Asset-Backed Securities (ABS)Experience in one or more of the following areas: capital markets, corporate trust, structured finance, contracts, financial services, or business development; with specific experience in ABS transaction structures involving asset types such as auto, consumer loan, timeshare, credit card, structured settlement, renewable energy, and life settlementsDemonstrated ability to read, understand, and negotiate complex transactional documentationStrong negotiation, verbal, and written communication skillsExcellent client rapport and relationship management capabilitiesProven leadership skills and ability to operate independently in a senior roleMust be able to travel 10% of the timeSkills & CompetenciesAbility to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environmentStrong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and high-quality work productAbility to ask thoughtful, “drilled-down” questions to fully understand client needs and objectivesStrong customer service orientation with a solutions-focused mindsetProficient in Microsoft Word and ExcelComfortable navigating multiple computer systems and applications to locate and analyze informationRewards designed for you Parental Leave. The base pay range for this role is $110,000 - $133,000.
