Cardiologist

Salary: $100-120+/hr based on experience LaSante Health Center is seeking a Part-time Cardiologist to provide high-quality, patient-centered cardiovascular care in a federally qualified health center (FQHC) setting one day/week. This role involves evaluating, diagnosing, and managing cardiovascular conditions while collaborating with primary care providers to support comprehensive care for an underserved community. Responsibilities Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with cardiovascular conditions Perform cardiovascular assessments and interpret diagnostic tests (e.g., EKGs, echocardiograms, stress tests as applicable) Develop and manage treatment plans for acute and chronic cardiac conditions Provide patient education on heart health, disease prevention, and medication management Collaborate with primary care providers and care teams to ensure coordinated care Document all encounters accurately in the electronic health record (EHR) Participate in quality improvement and clinical meetings as requested Qualifications Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution Board certified or board eligible in Cardiology Current New York State medical license (or eligibility for licensure) Experience in outpatient or community health settings preferred Strong communication and patient engagement skills #J-18808-Ljbffr
