Aerial Lineman - Fiber/CATV/HFC

Servicing Cox Communications, Comcast Cable, Segra and Suddenlink in the States of Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland, North Carolina, Tennessee, Florida, Pennsylvania, New Jersey and in Washington D.C., we are a trusted resource for cabling and maintaining high-speed internet connectivity via fiber optic and coaxial systems.FNS is looking to hire experienced In-house Aerial Lineman to work with our Culloden, WV. team. You'll join an existing team working many types of HFC/Broadband projects to include, BAU, spans, relos, Hyperbuild, Newbuild, Metro-E, etc. You will report to Project Management.Job Responsibilities (But Not Limited To)Read HFC maps / prints to understand project scopeClimb poles, utilizing Gaffs, Ladder and a Bucket Truck to perform work where requiredMaintain visual and vocal contact with other crew members as well as all moving or stationary people, vehicles, and objects in order to guarantee safe movement coordination.Recognize and enforce Safe working environments in Public Right-of-Way environments to include worksite traffic-control best practices.Produce accurate post-construction as-built mark-up maps.
