Service Sales Engineer

Summary:Our award-winning client is seeking a Service Sales Engineer to join their team.Our client is seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Service Sales Engineer to drive sales growth and customer satisfaction in the Upper Midwest. This key role will be responsible for developing and executing sales and service strategies, building strong customer relationships, and ensuring customer success. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in industrial applications, particularly in the food industry, and a proven track record of achieving sales targets.Responsibilities:Sales & Service Leadership:Drive sales and service activities within the assigned territory, exceeding revenue and profitability targets.Develop and implement effective sales and service strategies to penetrate new markets and expand customer base.Manage and prioritize service requests, ensuring timely and efficient resolution of customer issues.Customer Relationship Management:Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key customers.Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries, providing expert technical advice and support.Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the assigned territory.Product Expertise:Develop a deep understanding of EDT's product offerings and their applications in the food industry.Stay abreast of industry trends and competitive landscapes to identify new market opportunities.Provide technical support and guidance to customers on product selection, installation, and operation.Sales & Service Operations:Develop and manage customer proposals and quotations.Negotiate contracts and ensure profitable pricing strategies.Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and track sales progress.Customer Support:Provide on-site technical support for equipment installation, troubleshooting, and commissioning.Address customer concerns and resolve issues promptly and effectively.Foster a customer-centric culture by ensuring a seamless and positive customer experience.Business Development:Identify and pursue new market opportunities and expand EDT's market share.Develop and maintain strong relationships with industry partners and influencers.Represent EDT at industry events and trade shows.
