Senior Director of Preconstruction

Senior Director, PreconstructionMiami, FL (On-Site)A rapidly growing developer/operator in the hyperscale and mission-critical infrastructure space is seeking a Senior Director of Preconstruction to lead portfolio-level preconstruction strategy across large-scale data center developments.This is a highly visible leadership role responsible for driving budgeting, procurement strategy, constructability, scheduling, subcontractor engagement, and overall project readiness across multiple concurrent projects. The individual will work closely with executive leadership, finance, engineering, development, and construction teams to ensure projects are commercially sound and positioned for seamless execution.Key Responsibilities:• Lead portfolio-level preconstruction efforts across hyperscale / mission-critical infrastructure projects• Own budgeting, cost modeling, scheduling, procurement planning, and constructability reviews• Build and manage subcontractor and vendor strategy across multiple regions and trades• Oversee preconstruction standards, bid packages, RFPs, and construction handoff processes• Lead and mentor a team of Directors, senior PMs, estimators, and preconstruction professionals• Partner with executive leadership on portfolio readiness, risk management, and delivery strategy• Drive consistency, scalability, and operational excellence across the preconstruction functionIdeal Background:• 10–15+ years in preconstruction, estimating, or construction program leadership within data center, industrial, or mission-critical infrastructure environments• Strong experience with portfolio-level budgeting, procurement, scheduling, and contractor management• Deep understanding of civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical systems• Proven leadership experience building and scaling teams and operational processes• Experience supporting large-scale infrastructure or hyperscale developments preferredLocation: Miami, FL
