The Director, Human Resources is a key member of the global HR leadership team and will collaborate with the EPC executive team and global HR to translate business strategy into HR strategy, plans and solutions. The role will partner with managers and HR to hire, engage, and develop talent to build the organizational capabilities required for short and long-term success. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Develop HR strategy and strategic workforce plans that align to the US business. Oversee and update as needed: recruitment & workforce planning, performance management, training and development, employee relations, policies and processes to align with the business. Develop talent management plans and drive initiatives by partnering with managers to attract, retain, develop, and engage talent in critical roles. Leads, develops, and mentors a team of HR professionals on all HR services delivered. Build and drive a culture of employee engagement to improve business performance and efficiency. Ensures appropriate communications, training and change management programs are carried out to successfully deploy new and/or expanded HR services and processes. Counsel and/or mentor employees and managers regarding employee relations issues including performance management, facilitation of formal/informal complaints to resolution, disciplinary action and/or terminations in line with company policies and legal practices. Collaborate with global HR team on corporate wide benefits and talent lifecycle initiatives. Experience and/or Education Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field 7+ years of HR related experience in roles of growing scope Knowledge and understanding in handling complex employee relations matters, federal, state & local employment laws and regulations, benefits administration, compensation, recruitment, retention and talent management processes. Ability to collaborate and work effectively with others across teams, departments and levels to achieve shared goals. High degree of autonomy and strong decision-making skills Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills Ability to build strong relationships with internal & external customers by understanding their needs and expectations. Ability to understand business context and leverage relevant data, interpret what the data means and what story it tells Applies human resources expertise and business insight to lead critical projects and/or relationships. Influences and aligns business decisions through advice and counsel with leaders and cross-functional partners Adjust quickly to new situations or priorities.
