This role focuses on delivering data‑driven insights, supporting planning and forecasting, and driving informed decision‑making across the business.The position operates in a hybrid environment and is ideal for experienced finance professionals who enjoy working closely with stakeholders, leading analysis, and building scalable reporting and planning processes.Position SummaryThe Lead Financial Analyst partners with business leaders to provide financial and operational insights that support strategic objectives. This role leads core financial analysis, planning, and reporting activities while contributing to process improvements and advanced analytics initiatives.Key ResponsibilitiesPartner with business unit leaders to support decision‑making through financial analysis and insightsLead monthly close reporting and financial review processesDevelop, track, and report on KPIs and performance metricsPrepare and review monthly P&L reporting and variance analysisSupport annual operating plans, projections, and long‑term planningAnalyze expenses and provide consolidated explanations to leadershipStandardize reporting processes, templates, and analyticsSupport ad‑hoc reporting and dashboard enhancements using Excel and analytics toolsDrive process improvements through automation and advanced analyticsPartner with accounting teams to ensure accurate and timely month‑end closeSupport cross‑functional and global initiatives as neededQualificationsBachelor’s degree required; CPA, MBA, or Master’s in Finance a plus6+ years of progressive finance or financial analysis experience preferredStrong experience supporting planning, forecasting, and management reportingAdvanced Excel skillsERP experience required; SAP experience strongly preferredExperience with analytics and visualization tools such as Power BI or Power Query a plusStrong communication skills and ability to present insights to leadershipAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environmentCompensation & BenefitsBase Salary: Up to $120,000Bonus: Eligible (approximately 15%)Benefits: Comprehensive health, wellness, and retirement benefitsWork Arrangement: Hybrid (4 days onsite, 1 day remote)Location: Northern Suburbs of Chicago'Our specialized recruiting professionals apply their expertise and utilize our proprietary AI to find you great job matches faster.'
